This is my favorite place to dine out. The presentation of my favorite dishes is perfect, but more importantly the delicious appetizers and entrees cause a party in my palate and stomach whenever we dine there. I just love this place. Did I mention that the service is top-rate.
Was wandering in Yorktown and happened across the Riverwalk for our evening meal. Great friendly atmosphere, lovely barman who was so efficient and kept everything running so smoothly. The meal was the best, fresh and fantastic tasting food. The Key Lime Pie was the best I have ever tasted. A wonderful meal, with great service, thank you very much!
MEET OUR STAFF
The creative culinary expert himself, Executive Chef Brian Hines came to us in 2013 with 19 years of professional culinary experience, including 12 years as Chef de Cuisine and 7 years of culinary training at J. Sargeant Reynolds Graduate. Brian has has been a critical part to our culinary staff as he helps guide and direct our kitchen staff to create some of the most elaborate, innovative and exciting dishes that Riverwalk has ever seen. Although Brian has a natural creative knack for all types of food, his passion and specialty are his creative seafood dishes. As our executive chef, Brian takes pride in his kitchen’s and challenges our staff to use their creative persona to help create some of the most exquisite dishes that Hampton Roads have ever witnessed. In his spare time, Brian enjoys attending live music festivals and traveling the world exploring extravagant regional cuisines.
Jamie began her restaurant career while working her way through school at The College of William and Mary. After graduation in 2005, she traded in the couch for a bar top and tables, realizing that her Psychology skills and desire to help others were best utilized within the hospitality and restaurant industry. With 13 years of restaurant experience, she joined our staff in April of 2014 to assist in the opening of the York River Oyster Company in Gloucester Point. Jamie then moved to the Riverwalk Restaurant and Water Street Grille in November of 2014. Jamie has an intense passion for wine and specialty cocktails, and enjoys presenting unique and interesting finds to our customers. In her spare time, you can find Jamie in the great outdoors, hiking, kayaking or running with her rescue dog, and of course, drinking fine wine.
Sheri has been a part of the Riverwalk family since 2008 as our Banquet Coordinator and has been an intangible asset to our Management staff. Having lived in Gloucester, VA since 1982, working within the restaurant industry since 1989 and having a passion of cooking and shopping, Sheri knows how to provide customers with the most memorable and sensational experience they will have ever encountered.
Born in the Bronx of New York, Chef Robino has been a premier chef in the Yorktown/Williamsburg area for the past 12 years. His favorites and specialties include seafood, sauces, pies and desserts.
Chef Robino has been living in Hampton roads area for the last 15 years.
